A rocket-like light phenomenon in the northern sky. A wide veil of light follows. Flew fairly level in a straight line from northeast to north. The veil-like phase lasted almost two minutes. Then it brightened into a white ball that slowly disappeared behind the cloud. I only realized to take a picture at that point.
