Yesterday I skied a 7km run on the ice of Lappajärvi. In the middle of an open glacier, the crater lake certainly seemed huge. I related my experience to the Ptolemaic group I photographed on Wednesday by transferring Lappajärvi to the surface of the moon in the correct scale.
