Mare Imbrium - 31.3.2023 at 01.05 - 31.3.2023 at 01.13 Nokia Observation number 113999

Visibility IV / V

Aki Karjalainen, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)

I photographed the surroundings of Mare Imbrium and compiled a small travel guide about the hottest attractions in the area. The image is a mosaic that I put together from five partial images. The sub-pictures are made by stacking about one minute long video clips. The camera was connected to the telescope with an eyepiece projection, with which the focal length of the imaging system became approximately 3990mm and the brightness f/27.

The numbered objects in the second picture:

1. Plato

2. Mare Frigoris

3. Montes Alpes

4. Vallis Alpes

5. Montes Tenerife

6. Mons Pico

7. Mons Piton
