Visibility IV / V
The wait of about ten years is finally over and in what weather!
I was feeding the cats and happened to look through the window. The plane, brightly lit by the sun, drew a streak across the sky. Pretty. Within a few seconds I realized that it seems to be heading straight for the moon!
Fortunately, the camera bag was next to me, so the telephoto lens was on, quick adjustments to the camera and out the door.
I focused on the plane and followed it for maybe a good ten seconds. When the plane then seemed to be going straight over the Moon, I couldn't believe my luck!
In the end, the machine was only a short distance away from the puck and I pressed the trigger to the bottom. A grueling couple of seconds passed as the camera shutter rattled.
When the plane was already far from the moon, I put the camera down and looked at the screen. A moment... The exposure is fine, the focus is perfect... Wow. I was happy.
By the way, Sateenkaarien bay can be seen quite nicely in the picture. And other familiar destinations.
As a curiosity, the plane was CSG2572, a Chinese cargo plane model Boeing 777-F1B (B77L) and the distance as the crow flies at the time of taking the picture was about 22.5 kilometers (in other words, approximately 25km)

Nyt on hieno otos!
Pitäisi joskus ottaa asiaksi laskeskella (käyttäen Flightradaria hyödyksi) milloin tuo onnistuisi täällä Tampereella kun koneet laskee Tre-Pirkkalan kentälle.
Varmaan silloin kun aurinko/kuu menee melko matalalla.
Hieno onnistuminen! Itsekin olen yrittänyt, mutta aina menee alta tai päältä ohi. Täällä missä on kuitenkin melko vähän lentoliikennettä tällainen sattuma on melko harvinaista.
Kiitos kaikille.
