Visibility IV / V
These northern lights managed to surprise from the back left. An older representative of the next generation and I had gone to see something completely different and rarer. However, while we were waiting for the rocket launch , aurora borealis began to appear in the sky. If I had monitored the situation better, I might have been able to foresee it by taking with me equipment specifically suitable for aurora borealis. Now we went with basic optics.
The observation site was the beach of the UKK Institute, which has been known for a long time. Behind me in the southwest was the city of Tampere and the Moon and Venus shone in the western sky . Along the beach there was an occasional murmur of conversation as the local bongars waited for the view to develop.
After the rocket launch, the northern lights continued in the sky. Saw that a Total Balalika Show class play was gradually taking shape from the evening. To our regret, the youth and I had to head south, but we had planned to stop along the way for bonga.
