Satellite - 17.3.2013 at 21.15 Vehniä, Laukaa Observation number 12081

Visibility IV / V

A chunk hit the northern lights exercise. There are smaller beaches in several of the pictures - this is where the evening has gone with yesterday's shots. The girl did not give up outdoor activities until three hours after the battery was discharged. It was a great evening! Too bad that no better colors were recorded in that image ...

edit: I mistakenly named the image a meteor at first, but instead it is a satellite, more specifically the scrap of the Chinese Fengyun 1C satellite (its more specific ID 1999-025BHR) in the sky after a missile test (shot a satellite with a missile to try missile defense.). Attached is a simulation image of the Heavensat program, which does not exactly match, as the coordinates of the observation site have been estimated.

How amazing. Beautiful scrap. Thank you for the information!
