Such a rather large ellipse caused extra palpitations as it appeared in the field of view. The first image is a hand-fired stack and the rest are individual exposures.
The vertical radius of the ellipse is probably in the order of 10 degrees and the rapids on. The top edge is vague, as if another even slimmer ellipse was included.
It is noteworthy that in the same ice mist, side suns also occurred simultaneously with the ellipse.
