Visibility III / V
The gamma-ray burst was detected from space by the Swift satellite and the Integral X-ray telescope at 09:17 Finnish time. We detected the coordinates of the gamma-ray burst with Petri Kehusmaa using a remote telescope in New Mexico starting at 10:30 a.m. The optical afterglow was immediately found in the first image in exactly the same place where the X-ray afterglow had been observed. The brightness estimate was about 18 magnitudes and the subject was clearly fading. We report the observation in CGN Circular number 15786. This is the third glow post-gamma glow found by star enthusiasts in a row.
