Visibility III / V
Sunday’s star show at the TaUrsa observatory was quite lively thanks to the bright weather and I was left to try out the shooting with “pre-heated” equipment after that. And of course when it comes to a windless and cloudless night then it has to be with a full moon. As a telescope, the Quadruplet offered a wider viewing angle than before with a 420mm focal length, and I got the AP900 tripod to obey "pulseguide" control without a normal ST4 yard. In the fall, I had headed for a tripod for a full three nights watching the stars flow and here I tested it a bit. However, the picture didn’t turn out very well because manual focus went a little wrong and loose USB cables fluctuated between messy tracks at times. Next time better prepared and learned from mistakes. Picture .
