Visibility IV / V
Venus and Jupiter shone again, as usual, very bright. I tend to take such time-lapse stills. The first was taken later in the evening, and the long exposure times also conjured up a whole host of stars. The second is in the past, at dusk.
Coincidentally, the starburst also hit the wide-angle image. Does it belong to a flock or is it just random?
Sometimes I study when I have scintillations, using traditional methods, that is, rotating the camera by hand. The planets really aren’t twinkling, the red color of Mars stands out. Sirius twinkled in his familiar way very spectacularly.
