Binocular comet Jacques - 13.8.2014 at 01.01 - 13.8.2014 at 01.26 Siilinjärvi Observation number 28917

Visibility III / V

Not visible

Almost a full moon and the Sun still close to the horizon, meaning rather suboptimal conditions for a comet hunt.

The tail star was easily found with 15-x70 binoculars, and despite the short exposures, the comet's tail also grabbed the images.
