A fireball at night, as bright as a full moon - 17.3.2015 at 20.50 Kannonkoski Observation number 35551

Visibility V / V

I was using repos and both cameras were exposing them, one to the west and one to the east. Both aimed at the skyline so neither fireball was recorded.

From the corner of my eye, however, I noticed a bright movement above my head and had time to turn to look at it. The fireball faded quickly, fading after about 3 seconds as I turned to look. The total duration of a few seconds is probably more. There was no sound associated with the fan.
