A fireball at night, as bright as a cresent moon - 2.1.2016 at 17.48 Kauhava
Observation number 46902
This was clearly yellowish in color and was visible for a couple of seconds before disappearing behind buildings and trees. As if it had broken down into several parts.
I was shooting the starry sky and there was just a delayed shot in the camera. In other words, a photo of that fireball was reasonably close. :)
It is not possible to distinguish a possible smoke vane illuminated by light pollution from a photograph taken immediately after that.
