Telescopic comet Catalina - 12.3.2016 at 21.18 Pieksämäki Observation number 49483

Visibility II / V

Timo Kantola, Ursa (Itä-Suomi)

Saturday night was relatively confusing, crescent moon, fog clouds and light pollution from the city 5km away was a bit inconvenient.

first 30cmF4 tube animation of 5min exposures for about 85min time. Uneven weather (sometimes a thickening, sometimes thinning fog cloud) causes comet brightness variations in the animation.

135mmF2 obiska with 7x3min color image and a couple of body.

Last combined with a tail 17x5min + 5min constellation.
