Binocular comet LINEAR - 27.3.2016 at 20.30 Siding Spring, Australia Observation number 50291

Visibility III / V

Tapio Lahtinen, Tampereen Ursa

I was very interested in the 252P comet to be cooled in the southern hemisphere, which had experienced brightness up to 4 magnitudes.
While photographing the comet, I also had the opportunity to try out a paid remote telescope, which I had been considering for some time.

I got to know a few and ended up with the iTelescope service , which has numerous tubes of different sizes in America, Spain, and Australia.

With the comet so south, I ended up using a smaller lens tube in Australia. At the same time, the first experiment did not become so expensive because due to the phase of the moon, I got up to 50% off the usage time,

There were some problems at the beginning, of course (my first scripted timer refused to work for some reason - thankfully it wasn’t billed), but yes, this is a good first try for me.

Edit: image changed for slightly better processing.
