A fireball in a twilight sky - 2.4.2016 at 21.51 Ikaalinen, Sisättö Observation number 51279

Visibility IV / V

Heidi Rikala, Ursa (Helsinki)

I took test shots if the northern lights were already green in the sky. The camera was just taking a picture and suddenly the fireball flew horizontally from east to west at a fairly low level. I think the flight took quite a long time, maybe about 5 to 6 seconds. It had a sparkling long tail, but I couldn’t hear the sound.
