A fireball in a twilight sky - 12.8.2016 at 00.56 Tampere Observation number 55823

Visibility IV / V

Many pictures were taken, a few Perseid flights took the camera after all. 12.8 saw 15 flights between 00-02.00. 13.8 flights appeared to be fewer and were not as intense as 12.8. Of course, the 13.8 clouds also hampered the quantification of observations.

Tämä kylläkin näyttää Iridiumilta symmetrisine kirkastumineen.

Mikähän mahtaa olla tuon kuvan tarkka kuvausaika ja valotuksen kesto? Iridiumin välähdykseltä näyttää minustakin.

Sirpa Pursiainen - 14.8.2016 at 02.00 Report this

0.56 kertoo kamera. Valotuksen kesto 25 sekunttia.

Mikko Peussa - 14.8.2016 at 02.55 Report this

Ihan äkkiä katsottuna ei mikään Iridiumkaan sovi tuohon, mikäli kameran kello on oikein. Valotuksen kesto sen sijaan sopisi kyllä ihan hvvin Iridiumkuvaksi. En tosiaan itse osaa sanoa mitään varmaa tähän, mutta olen silti Iridiumin kannalla.
