Farewell Catalina. Comet C / 2013 US10 (Catalina) was a great binoculars of magnitude 6..8 from 12/2015 to 04/2016, presenting its multi-degree tails at best. Now Catalina has moved away from the sun and is already 4.2 AU away from Earth in the Driver's constellation. In the 60-minute images below, Catalina is no longer distinguished by a dim coma of about 15 magnitude with a diameter of 20 ". One image is stacked according to the stars and the other according to the comet.
