Eclipse was overcast - 11.2.2017 at 00.30 - 11.2.2017 at 03.00 Turku Observation number 61064

Visibility Unclassified

Juha Ojanperä, Linda Laakso, Porin Karhunvartijat

The lunar eclipse of the moon on 10/11/2017 was not visible in Turku due to the thick cloud cover. Before the eclipse began, the Cloud Cover cracked, and the Moon appeared momentarily. However, during the early stages of the eclipse, the cloud cover thickened and the Moon completely disappeared behind the clouds. During the deepest phase of the eclipse, not a glimpse of the Moon was visible. At this point, we stopped detecting.
