Visibility II / V
Today Weather Report promised to be bright between 21-03, so we packed our stuff with Karan Pasanen and headed to a nearby familiar filming location. I didn’t believe in the weather because last winter they haven’t really held true. However, there was a gap between the clouds, from which we had time to shoot a great northern lights play for a while. The clouds rolled quickly to cover the northern lights, so we waited for the situation to improve. While waiting, Karri looked at the pictures recorded on the camera, and in one screen apparently swung a fireball! The observation completely passed me as I chatted and moved the other camera. But it was forcibly recorded for me too, because the other camera was knocking the timelapse. The cloud situation didn’t improve, so we decided to head home. I’m not at all sure about this observation, but that picture shows that reality. Two exposures are combined in the image.
