The asteroid 2014 JO25 passes firmly close to Earth. In animations, it moves through an image field about the diameter of the moon during a ten-minute exposure. The exposure of the first animation started at 22:36 and the exposure of the second animation & image at 23:38. Halfway through the latter exposure, which began at 23:38, the asteroid went close to the star GSC 3029: 399 12.17mag. Below the star is the dim galaxy PGC47741 15.58mag.

Hieno havainto, upeaa!
Hieno animaatio, kuvasin itse tätä ihan samaan aikaan, todella nopealiikkeinen kohde on kyseessä.
Vauhdikas kaveri tuo tosiaan oli, itsekin kuvasin tuota vähän myöhemmin ja taitaa olla itselläni nopeimmin kuvakentässä liikkunut tähtikuvauskohde meteorien jälkeen kohtalaisella marginaalilla.
Todella hienosti saatu sarja ja animaatio asteroidista! Nämä läheltä viuhahtavat isot kivenmurikat ovat mielenkiintoisia havaintokohteita.
Lisäsin vielä toisenkin tuntia myöhemmin kuvatun animaation ja siitä tähtien mukaan pinotun kuvan. Kiitoksia, nämä on tosiaan jänniä "murikoita", onneksi meni ohi.
