Several halo forms - 6.12.2011 at 19.00 Eurajoki Observation number 638

Visibility Unclassified

22 degree ring 4 days around a full moon. The moon above Jupiter, leaving Jupiter's halo almost in the middle. The 22-degree top side was visible, even the pool side hint, not sure.

There was still a dim ring around the moon as if it had a smaller ring, could there be a 9 degree halo?

The 22 degree halo was completely round, wide visible, in a completely homogeneous "cloud" / crystals, really gorgeous and handsome.

Just perfect for the 94-year-old Independence Day evening party to shine.

On top of all that, at 9-12, a combination of Perseus and Cassiopeia, called the Deer / Deer constellation by our cousins, stepped along the arc of the 22-degree halo. It's like a Moose climbing uphill on the Moon.

Additional information
  • The halo was caused by lightsource:
    • Moonlight

Hieno havainto ja kertomus! Kyllä tämä tosiaan tätä päivää juhlistaa.
