Sun - 9.7.2017 at 11.39 Espoo Observation number 65069

Visibility IV / V

Tommi Ropponen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

Yesterday it was cloudy in Espoo and the filming was not successful, but this morning the weather was cloudless. Seeing was also quite good, which can be seen in the pictures. Shortly before 1 p.m., the weather began to weaken and seeing deteriorated and eventually clouds sailed on. I have made it a habit, whenever possible, to be filming as early as possible, because the weather in the morning and in the morning often seems to be clearly better in the afternoon and evening.

The pictures show the active area 2665, which was nice to include in the pictures, even though I went hunting for the prototypes. Yesterday the situation would have been better when the area had been closer to the protu and now I had to work hard to get the protut and the 2665 cell at the same time.

Attached are several different treatments to highlight different areas, and together comes NASA’s Apollo-era free-to-use Earth image to give an approximate scale to the images.
