3122 Florence - 1.9.2017 at 23.42 - 2.9.2017 at 00.21 Imatra Observation number 66656

Visibility III / V

Rauno Paivinen, Etelä-Karjalan nova

Asteroid 3122 Florence photographed during a close pass on September 1, 2017 in the evening. The sky brightened appropriately for a few hours and I was able to capture this asteroid. I took 155 10 s exposures. The photometric measurement with the astroart program gave a brightness value that was a little too bright, i.e. 8.4mag, in reality that probably was somewhere around 8.9mag.

Seeing was pretty bad and probably because the stars have facets
