1496 Turku (1938 SA1,1928 QN, 1928 RE, 1950 EC, 1954 MH, 1957 HB). Filmed on DS weekend Sunday. Finland 100 The target of our project 23. The asteroid on the inner edge of the main zone, discovered by Yrjö Väisälä on September 22, 1938 in Iso-Heikkilä, Turku. The asteroid is named after the city of Turku. The size of the asteroid is 8.19km and the spin time is 6.47h / r, spectral class S. It belongs to the flora (402 Flora) asteroid family. 1Picture. There is some movement.
2Picture. first picture, measured 00: 33: 24UT 04h51m02.93s + 25d24'37.5 "16.5mag, Horizon 00: 33UT 04h51m02.91s + 25d24'36.6" 16.8mag.
3Picture. last picture, measured 00: 43: 53UT 04h51m03.17s + 25d24'38.0 "16.7mag, Horizon 00: 44UT 04h51m03.15s + 25d24'37.4" 16.8mag. No good calibration star was found (were bright and saturated) so I had to choose from the star map r.13.6mag USNO-A 04h50m55s + 25d25'42 "for brightness calibration.
