Moon - 17.10.2017 at 07.30 Harjavalta Observation number 67622

Visibility III / V

Jari Kuula, Porin Karhunvartijat

Among the morning mist, the thin sickle of the Moon swam. I snapped a picture of it, and when I looked closely, the details were found. To the south, the terminator has Bailly almost in profile, Schickard the base convex, the place with his friend as a heart-shaped shadow. Twenty degrees north of the place is the double shadow of Sirsalis, and Reiner Gamma stands out lightly upwards from it. The same leap still to the north, so you can see the plateau of Aristarchus with the terminator.
