Mons Rümker - 1.11.2017 at 20.00 - 1.11.2017 at 20.35 Harjavalta Observation number 67990

Visibility IV / V

Jari Kuula, Porin Karhunvartijat

Mons Rümker is a large volcanic complex (73km), consisting of more than a dozen small domes. This structure is the only one of its kind on the Moon, and when low it requires a low Sun to appear. Early lunar surveyors saw it as a worn-out crater. The drawing is done in a few steps between the clouds.
