Visibility IV / V
I got a message from a friend sometime around 9.30pm that it was reportedly clear in Lake Norvajärvi. Otherwise it was really cloudy and I had already given up for the evening hours ago. Kamat piled up and swung to the scene to state that so it just was clear.
There was no need to wait long on the spot when the first really fast and bright flare flashed in the sky. The camera settings were facing honk when it just happened to be the a7s in hand.
I saw another brighter moment coming, and the laziness began at about 10.30pm and lasted about three minutes, the main picture of that moment.
After that, the northern lights diluted low, though still remaining surprisingly bright. And even the clouds began to make their way to heaven, the last couple of pictures on the subject. Those fires were really bright, when the clouds reached the world went dark. During the last pictures, it was already snowing from the sky, and after a couple of miles of driving from the scene, the road was completely white.
