A fireball at night, as bright as the sun - 16.11.2017 at 18.50 Olhava Observation number 68359

Visibility V / V

Not visible

We were on our way from Oulu to Rovaniemi and with the taxi driver we wondered out loud that what a miraculous light phenomenon it was that would light the sky behind us and disappear behind the trees. We travel with the driver 5 days a week the same distance, the same clock to beat and never before has such a light phenomenon been seen. I was a little nervous that what would come next ... Then it was a pretty foggy long way.
