Visibility IV / V
After the "official" program of Ursa's atmospheric meeting was clear, so the gang to use the Persians. I myself tuned to shoot two rational and one video surveillance camera, from which my homemade software stacked maximum 10-second stacks.
Here’s one of the brightest, and definitely the most interesting, Perseidi. Unfortunately, I only had time to see the vanish fading from this, but the flash was eye-catching even though I looked a little past.
The first image from the above-mentioned surveillance camera, start time synchronized with the NTP protocol on stack 00.53.50 and stack duration 10 s.
Another image with a fisheye lens, checked exposure start time 00.53.41 (15 s exposure). I didn’t remember to adjust the settings of this camera after dusk, so the image was pretty dark.
Third image with 24 mm lens, checked exposure start time 00.53.44 (15 s exposure).
In the fourth image, images taken with a 24 mm lens show a smoke ball left by a fireball.
Brightness estimated based on images. Based on the revised times, the visible phase of the fireball was between 00.53.50 and 00.53.56.
