A hazy oval, dimmer than the moon, clearly brighter than the stars, perhaps the size class of the moon, and about half the height. Born the image of a helicopter several kilometers away, surrounded by fog, with bright floodlights up and down.

Roughly estimated direction from the observation site 290 degrees ==> 330 degrees and a few degrees above the forest on the horizon.
