After the shopping trip, a tense cloud of veils caught my eye with a slight oily discoloration on the edge. A small piece of halo also hit the same veil. I grabbed the camera and still wary of the polarizing filter to see if it would get any color off. I didn't get the insane difference in the different positions of the filter, this was probably the clearest flicker. Attached is a heavily adjusted version and a raw version.

  Iridescent clouds are clouds colored in the colors of spectra in the vicinity of a light source. The phenomenon is very common.
