Visibility IV / V
We arrived at Meri-Pori Uniluoto with a group of Pori Bear Guards, which had a direct view to the southeast / south. There were also many other "moonlit" gathered at the scene to admire the eclipse. The beginning looked bad, the clouds were just threatening the view to the south. We did not see the beginning of the eclipse and many who arrived quickly handed over and left for home.
However, it would not have been worth leaving, after a painful wait, the Moon began to emerge dimly from the gap of the clouds at about 11.40 pm. At the beginning the contrast was really bad, only at the end of the perfect phase the Moon was visually spectacular. The partial stage was already much better and we got a lot of footage from it.
At the same time, we also discovered Saturn. About 15 people saw Saturn for the first time through a telescope and many were really happy to see it. For the more enthusiast, we also showed other destinations such as Mars and Albireo.
Overall a very successful blackout bridge! The atmosphere on the spot was really good!
