Visibility IV / V
Nearly three hours of thunder banged at a steady pace across Joensuu and Kontiolahti. A few good squares hit their seats, although the rain did make it quite difficult for businesses.
The most visually spectacular phenomenon was provided by a red rainbow pierced by a magnificent lightning bolt. Unfortunately, I didn't get the flash until the cell.
Images in reverse chronological order.
Tuomo Arovainio probably has an almost identical version of the main picture in his observation, because when we came to the shore of the pond, we recovered the last flashes of the evening from almost the same places.
