Moon - 21.1.2019 at 21.15 - 21.1.2019 at 23.00 Lempäälä Observation number 80814

Visibility V / V

Ari Haavisto, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)

I described a large mosaic of a full moon in 26-degree frost. The clear moon would ghostly illuminate the snowy field, the plow ramparts and the snowy tanner dug by the throws of the snow thrower, making it look right on the surface of the Moon. There was, of course, plenty of clothing on top and thick gloves, and as I stepped around the tube, with the surface of the Moon visible on the laptop screen, I suddenly felt very vividly an astronaut in a clumsy spacesuit on the surface of the Moon! The feeling was very strong.

From my "Moon Walk" I got samples of over 800 Gigabytes, from which I processed a large mosaic of the entire Moon. Since the Sky Guard is unable to display it in its correct size, below are links to mosaic images in a larger size.

Hienoja, kuten aina.

Tuo täysikokoinen kuva on kyllä kuin Apollo -kapselin ikkunasta kuvattu. Fantastinen kuva, jossa on käsittämätön määrä yksityiskohtia. Ei ihmekään, että on tuntunut astronauttimaiselta olo!
