Dim night shining clouds - 31.7.2011 at 00.05 Turku Observation number 846

Visibility II / V

Joni Tahkoniemi, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)

In the beginning, dim belts were visible and it already looked promising when the clouds brightened at a good pace. However, the joy did not last long when
began to dim almost as quickly.

Before going to bed, a quick look from the balcony and I had to point it out, while the clouds were a little brighter. In that case, there was a clear movement even with the eyes as you followed the left edge of the night cloud board for a few minutes.

    • Swirl info

Swirls are curved night shining cloud forms. For example, a single night cloud belt or group of waves may be curved on a clear bend.
