Visibility III / V
(5534) 1941 UN (1941 UN, 1984 CT, 1987 WA5) An asteroid in the central zone of the main zone was photographed on the first night of the September 2019 Extraordinary Talks (storm bongar event). Finland 182. The asteroid was discovered by Liisi Oterma on October 15, 1941 in Iso-Heikkilä, Turku, and left it unnamed. The first sighting of an asteroid in Turku was already 1941 09 20.97679 UTday at 00h 44m 01.01s + 02d 55 '52.8 ", official Discovery date 1941 10 15.87 UTday 00h 20.6m + 03d 07'.
The size of the asteroid is 8.50km and the spectral class is spec_B => S rock. When shooting, fog clouds moved close to the ground and caused light variations in the images and scattering for measurement. The last in the series is one 240s exposure. 1Picture. first image measured, 2019-09-27T 20: 04: 45UT 2458754.33663JDUT 00h33m01.07s + 02d46'57.1 "14.9mag Std Dev 408.543, JPL Horizon 20: 04: 45UT 00h33m01.16s + 02d46'56.2" 14.47mag.
