A fireball in a twilight sky - 20.2.2020 at 18.20 Aura Observation number 88557

Visibility IV / V

I was driving a car on Aura road No. 9 in the direction of Tampere between about 18: 15-18: 30 when I suddenly saw a bright light phenomenon on the left side of my field of vision. The flash of light was visible to me for about 2-3 seconds and it seemed to fall down and slightly to the right. The sky at the time of observation was partly cloudy and the flash was thus visible among the clouds. The bus I was driving was congested at the time of the incident, so I was not able to make very accurate observations of the phenomenon. However, the light was remarkably bright, corresponded mainly to the full moon seen through the clouds, and came from an unusual direction to be no light reflected from the ground. In time, the phenomenon would fit the fireball observed in Kyyjärvi and therefore I thought I would report my observation, which I initially considered irrelevant.
