Telescopic comet ATLAS - 16.4.2020 at 22.45 - 16.4.2020 at 23.33 Imatra Observation number 90017

Visibility III / V

Rauno Paivinen, Etelä-Karjalan nova

Comet C / 2019 Y4 (Atlas) photographed during a clear period of a couple of hours, the world has obtained great images of the decay of the comet's core with larger tubes, here too the same can be observed. There are two brighter parts at the front and smaller brightnesses at the back.

An interesting comet to describe because of this change.

This was also noticed visually on the 10 "SCT and the rather dim fog ball was, 9-10mag

The first image is a 60 piece stack of 40s exposures

Second, the negative image

The third is the vision of the Astroart Jazz filter and the fourth is filtered by Larson-Sekan.
