Starry sky image - 28.2.2021 at 20.45 Tampere Observation number 96346

Visibility III / V

Pekka Rautajoki, Tampereen Ursa

Observation of the Ursan Bongaa 100 campaign; Orion and Sirius facing south. Coincidentally, at the same time, a small plane approached Pirkkala Airport, the navigation lights of which I also immortalized in the drawing (bonga 100 #83). The observation also includes Orion ( #29), Orion's belt ( #30), Betelgeuse ( #46) and Sirius ( #47). Sirius is a great target for detecting the twinkling of stars ( #39) it flickered nicely in different colors. The second image has a four-second exposure of Sirius taken by hand with a 400mm lens; in the curve drawn on the cell, the varying colors of Sirius are perfectly visible. Orion's fog ( #31) was barely visible as a hazy star in Orion's sword, slightly better with the side eye ( #95), but overall the slight cloudiness at the time of observation was somewhat detrimental. #bongaa100
