Visibility III / V
Great decision for this northern lights season. The threads were bright and high. Their tops were strongly bluish / purple in the pictures. The best show was at 00: 30-00: 58, but there were smaller sub-storms at 00: 00-00: 10 and 02: 15-02: 40.
All night timelapse can be found on youtube: https://youtu.be/xzvquPaQSNs
The southernmost part also emitted wavy dim pulses every few seconds that did not separate from the timelapse. The waves moved from north to south. I’m not quite sure about the designation of the shape. A Youtube search for "pulsating Aurora" found some examples, but in these the arcs themselves flicker. Personally, I only noticed a separate matte layer that was above the other shapes.
