For just over a couple of minutes, I watched a thunderstorm passing about a couple of tens of miles away, with a rumbling density that was most of a concentration. The lightning appeared apparently mainly behind clouds and a rain wall, as I managed to spot a single lightning bolt. I still took pictures of that rain wall, even though the flashes were hidden.

It rumbled in the direction of Raippaluoto for a long time. However, I didn’t manage to get a single flash for Mavic’s video. The water seemed to come all the way to the wall.

In the afternoon, somewhere in the distance, the anvil of a thundercloud was visible in the sky, however, as the sun shone on the observation site. Based on the radar images, I placed this somewhere around Alavus-Peräseinäjoki. It would probably have been a more handsome revelation if there hadn’t been a cumulus cloud ahead.

The sea had long been windy and cloudless with insignificant-looking sunsets. I was hoping for something more colorful. The wind had subsided and the small clouds promised for the evening seemed promising. And when the sea still didn't calm down, we drove to the nearby Inhottujärvi nature reserve. There was a small amount of moisture in the air. As the sun set, a small, delicate pillar of the sun was reflected from the surface of the lake. And we got to see the colorful sunset I wanted. It was beautiful. And atmospheric!

After a month’s break, I finally got to shoot the brightest comet just below the mag 9 limit. It is estimated that towards the end of the year, the comet should still brighten by its magnitude, but unfortunately it will not be visible to the naked eye. More information here .

387 The asteroid in the central zone of the main zone of Aquitaine (A894 EC, 1894 AZ, 1945 NA, 1948 BG, 1953 EO1) was photographed on the first night of the June 2022 work. The asteroid of the Postrema family was discovered by the French Fernand Courty (1862 -1921) at the Bordeaux Observatory on March 5, 1894, Fernand Courty, who served as assistant astronomer at the Bordeaux Observatory, has found a total of 2 asteroids. A handsome anvil cloud appeared eastward early this morning. The temperature was pleasant (compared to noon) +17 degrees humid. The summer morning feeling was really in place. The mist raft above ground level and the shadows cast by thunder clouds into the hazy air added to the atmosphere.

Checking the night sky at half past one, at first there seemed to be nothing, but yes there were rays of twilight again. I watched for a moment, then back to sleep.

We got on a long night shooting trip. Sunsets were described and post-sunset color reflections in lakes and bays. Afterwards, I only realized that there were very weak illuminating night clouds. The colors caught my attention when shooting. It was a hot, beautiful night.

In the beginning, the area covered by the night clouds was indeed small, but it expanded and then moved all the time, still remaining strictly to the north. Figure 1 was taken at 1:20 a.m. when the area was at its widest. Figure 2 is a timelapse of approximately 90 frames over the entire observation period. Edit: corrected observation time (00.40 instead of 00.14)

Sunspot 3038. Sunny weather, of course, favors description but heat usually means poor seeing. Using a meter, I found a place on the plot where seeing was good. Steady wind and water surface a few meters away. I reduced the imaging area (ROI) of the sensor, got a faster shooting speed, and in half a minute I got a couple thousand images of which I stacked a few hundred. With this technique, I got clearly more details visible. My goal is to take a high resolution picture of the whole sun but making a mosaic is so challenging that I try to learn how to get more out of the bigger sensor. Lunt 80 ...

In April, I spotted a TESS telescope exoplanet from candidate TOI 4437.01 In the light curve, my partial observation of the output I got grabbed. I spotted the subject for four hours. In total, the duration of the event is 8–12 h. There were more observers, so it is hoped that we were able to detect the overrun as a whole. This is still made into a combined light curve and it is hoped that we were able to confirm that this exoplanet is real. According to preliminary data, this planet is the size of Jupiter.

Here in the sky it has been quiet. I saw a heavier rainbow from the car the day before, but it had time to disappear before a stop was found. I quickly photographed this from the stairs on my cell phone so I wouldn’t have time to escape.

The crescent moon rose into the clear sky and was still able to separate the planet Venus before sunrise with the naked eye.

The dim sunrise was visible even before sunrise, and the left side sun was only dim, but these too had to be recovered.

At half past one, the night first looked like a version of the previous two nights. There is a hint in the second picture 0:32 but not enough for identification. In the northern triangle 0:46, the observation was visually certain. From there it then expanded. The first image I took 0:54 (illustration-type editing is not a scientific record corresponding to visual observation). Vito's North 2:14 is at the end of the show. I chose 1/8 for the extent, although 1/16 of the entire visible sky area would be more accurate, but the area was not very small.
