The intention was already to put the equipment on the summer rolls, but when a couple of days ago there was news of Väisälä's unnamed asteroid , this one too had to try to describe even though the night was starting to be light and the asteroid quite dim. Well somehow it shows and I even got the asterod brightness measured. Brightness mag 16.2 This became the Finnish asteroid I discovered at seventeen. #Suomi100asteroidit

The almost full moon and even near the object did not provide very optimal conditions. However, I wanted to describe some object and one asteroid found in Iso-Heikkilä turned out to be suitable. This asteroid was the only one discovered by Gustav Inker and it happened in 1937. Brightness mag 15.3 R. #Suomi100asteroidit

I photographed another Finnish asteroid again. At the same time I decided to take a longer series in order to test whether I could also do the brightness curve and after calibration and measurements I found that I got the amplitude of 0.386 magnitude. From the measurements, the rotation time of the asteroid has been calculated to be 3.80 hours. Based on the studies, the shape of the asteroid has also been modeled. I'll see if I can make an animation of this as well. PS I noticed a dim bulge on the left side of the asteroid. I researched the matter and found information that there is a gala...

Tapio Lahtinen, Tampereen Ursa

It seemed appropriate to describe this asteroid. "Tellervo was the pastor of the forest god Tapio." I took measurements and tried to get a light curve but there was a pretty meager change in 45 minutes. But by hand a couple of measurements: 2019 11 03.85822 02 31 54.21 +09 15 01.1 14.17 V 2019 11 03.88512 02 31 52.57 +09 14 51.4 14.12 V I did a bit of light curve measurements on Gooklas and, oddly enough, I found two different pieces of information from the observations in the same group. Period P = 8.428 ± 0.003 h and amplitude A = 0.43 mag P = 4.213 ± 0.001 hours and amplitude 0.40 mag #Suom...
