Visibility I / V
I saw a rocket from the Sodankylä sky camera sometime around 22:30 and wondered if it could show up in the sky again later. I went out in the dim northern lights to stare with the family leaving in the morning back in the SME area. I took pictures of them with the northern lights and noticed a rocket behind them. There was a rush to describe it. The 14mm focal length at first seemed pretty too wide, at the time I thought some longer esm 50mm would have been nice. I suddenly ran to get the longest lens I owned, i.e. 20mm. I took a few pictures of both as well as real-time videos.
After all, the rocket was visible all over Finland a couple of weeks ago, which I saw but I didn't get a sensible picture, because the clear sky went into the cloud just for that time and I wasn't really ready to shoot about it. It remained annoying. Now, however, I got at least something I was really happy with.
