Visibility V / V
It was a nice decision for autumn vacation! :) Clear skies, and good forecasts for repos. I went to check out a new possible filming location near Rovaniemi, but it wasn't good, and the repos weren't too bad at 21, so I continued "a little" further to another new filming location in Raanujärvi. The place was quite good, except for the freezing wine and the tourists playing with the lights. But I couldn't be bothered by them for long when the lights were properly lit. And the tourists gave up before the best show. There were many kinds of repo dance in the sky. The entire time the aurora belt was directly overhead and some kind of corona-type tuning was going on overhead, but the actual bright corona show hit when I was about to give up at 23:25. Luckily the camera was still up...
I filmed at Raanujärvi from 21:40 to 23:30 and the lights were still looming in the sky the entire 45-minute journey home...
