Visibility IV / V
In the morning a beautiful pillar was visible. There was just over ten degrees of frost and ice mist in the air. I decided to go filming before the clouds creeping in from the north were rolling by the sun.
I got to the edge of the field. The snow began to rain quietly. It looked beautiful, but then .. The sun was behind the clouds. However, the pillar was visible at / above the sun. I waited my time for that because it would disappear. Not just lost.
Then I noticed reflected clouds of clouds. Would it be that the pillar came from reflected sunlight? At least to the south is the sea, meaning a reflective surface would be found. The air was also quite calm.
I sent the pictures taken with my mobile phone to the Facebook Natural Phenomena group, where Jari Luomanen guessed that the reflection sub-sun in question.
