Näin matalan havainto sai pohdiskelemaan yöpilvien sijaintia (lisäsin raporttiin satelliittikuvan)..
Mikäli yöpilvet majailisivat matalimmillaan 80km korkeudessa, kolmen asteen havainto olisi tällöin lähimmillään ~730km etäisyydellä.. asteen korkeudella majaileviin on etäisyyttä jo yli 900km. Ja näissä luvuissa ei ole mukana ilman taitosta..
Nämä yöpilvet majailivat siis jossain Kuolan niemimaan, Vienanmeren ja Arkangelin kaupungin tienoilla, jopa kauempanakin. Ehkä Jäämerellä asti?
Ilmakehän ilmiö voi olla yllättävänkin kaukana!
