Visibility III / V

Timo Inkinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

The sun was pretty expressionless today, but I both captured the view through the Daystar Quark Ha filter from the edge I thought was best. This image now shows the same area at the bottom right (around five o’clock) that is featured on the SpaceWeather Sun page and the GONG Ha page. I usually check the Ha view from that GONG service and those irregularities come from the AR2772 comma a couple of days earlier than the counterpart much much lower than that sunspot. A kind of "sigh from scratch" observation, but let's go like this when I haven't been to Ha-Sun for a long time.

Technical information

TMB 152/1200 APO lens tube, Baader D-ERF + Daystar Quark Combo filters. Again, shot with a limited 100mm aperture and 3000mm focal length (2.5x PowerMate in use). Seeing would probably have given up on the full 150 / 4800mm combination as well, but that combination was left unused this time.
